Deliver your shipments quickly and hassle-free
All exports in Canada must be processed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). This can be done in a couple of ways (see below), both of which require time-consuming applications and paperwork. Often, the jargon can get confusing and quite frustrating. Save yourself from hassles and worries and let Argo take care of your export needs. We'll make sure your shipments get delivered quickly and conveniently!
Exporters may use either the Canadian Automated Export Declaration (CAED) software, or the G7 electronic data interchange (EDI) export reporting application to report goods to be exported. Both methods are joint initiatives between the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and Statistics Canada.
Canadian Automated Export Declaration
Argo Business Corporation is authorized to use the Canadian Automated Export Declaration (CAED) when providing services for Commercial Exporting. CAED is an electronic method of reporting exports, which allows you to prepare your export declarations and transmit the information directly to the Government of Canada prior to export.
The Canadian Automated Export Declaration (CAED) is free and secure software provided by Statistics Canada that eliminates the paper-based reporting method. Registered exporters and agents report goods electronically over the Internet. This user-friendly software package automates the preparation of the CBSA's B13A, Export Declaration.
Canadian Automated Export Declaration (CAED) 1-800-257-2434 (Help Desk)
A paper-based method of reporting your exports, which must be submitted prior to exporting your shipment to the customs office nearest the place of exportation.
